Celebrating Independence Day

On August 15, 2024, 'Shyambazar Natyakabya' organized a small event at the Nari Siksha Samiti. During this event, they distributed essential educational materials such as notebooks, pens, pencils, and erasers among the students. Additionally, a wonderful patriotic musical feature was organized for the students, which filled the entire atmosphere with a beautiful sense of patriotism.

Social Welfare

In addition to practicing theatre, we have also dedicated ourselves to fulfilling some social responsibilities. Last year, on the eve of the 2025 Sharad Utsav (Durga Puja), in collaboration with Kashikananda Maharaj, we organized a distribution of new clothes for underprivileged and marginalized children at the Totapuri Ramakrishna Mission, Tarakeshwar to bring smiles to their faces.

Jan Bharat Rang

On the momentous occasion of the 25th Anniversary of Bharat Rang Mahotsav (2024)—India's premier international theatre festival organized by the National School of Drama (NSD)—we proudly took part in the nation-wide Jan Bharat Rang initiative. On 21st February 2024, our team performed at Nari Sikha Samiti premises. The event was part of a grand collective celebration aimed at taking the magic of theatre beyond traditional auditoriums and straight to the community. Through our performance, we contributed to this massive cultural tapestry, celebrating India's rich theatrical heritage and fostering a deeper connection with the local audience. It was an absolute honor for us to be a part of this silver jubilee milestone of Indian theatre, showcasing our passion and solidarity with the global theatre fraternity.
